Being a party to a lawsuit can be one of the most stressful experiences a person will ever have.

Our goal is to remove as much of this burden for you as possible, and guide you through to the best resolution that is available under the law.

Alex Mosaico 4.jpg

Alexander Mosaico has represented companies and individuals in complex litigation matters, prosecuting or defending claims involving contract disputes, highly contentious matrimonial matters, professional negligence, unjust enrichment, and fraudulent misrepresentation.

Alexander has also acted for contractors and owners, including one of Canada’s largest producers of crude oil, in complex construction litigation involving highly contested claims under the Builder’s Lien Act.

As a member of the Litigation and Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Groups for a major national law firm, Alexander worked as second counsel to highly respected lawyers, acting for both creditors and debtors in proceedings before the bankruptcy court. He has appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Court of King's Bench, and the Provincial Court of Alberta and before disciplinary committees of professional colleges.

See Alexander's volunteer profile with Pro Bono Law Alberta here.

Alexander also works, on occasion, in collaboration with Hu Eliot Young and Pierre Asselin on various files, which is facilitated by their sharing space in the historic Hugh Duncan Residence in Old Strathcona.

Coming from an immigrant family of entrepreneurs, Alexander knows what it’s like forging into unfamiliar territory. With this sense of adventure he left his home in the foothills of Alberta to attend Law School in Edmonton. He fell in love with the city and in particular the spectacular North Saskatchewan River valley, and decided to stay. In summer months he can often be found swimming in, or floating down the river on home-made rafts with family and friends.

Alexander is active in the following organizations
